Former Greater Amman Municipality Employee Detained on Charges of Embezzling Nearly JD 149,000

Al-Taj News – The Prosecutor General for Integrity and Anti-Corruption decided to detain a former employee of the Greater Amman Municipality for 15 days pending investigation at Marka Reform and Rehabilitation Center, in connection with a case involving suspicions of embezzlement and forgery.

According to the investigations, the employee embezzled approximately JD 149,000, while the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission had previously referred the case to the Public Prosecution to complete the legal procedures and investigate it.
